2025 Season Registration Dates

The Ponoka Minor Ball Association (PMBA) is excited to announce that registration for the 2025 Baseball season is officially open! With early registration, families have the opportunity to save on registration fees, so now’s the perfect time to sign up your young athletes for an exciting season of baseball. Early registration provides this discount but also allows PMBA to organize teams and coaches well in advance, creating a smooth start to the season for everyone involved.

Early Bird Special - $25 Off! For families who register by December 1, 2024, we’re offering a $25 Early Bird Discount. Be sure to take advantage of this special offer while it lasts! Regular registration fees will apply after December 1, so early action is encouraged to secure the discount.

Softball / Learn to Play

While baseball registration is already underway, we’re awaiting final setup from Softball Alberta for the 2025 season on the RAMP registration portal. We anticipate that Softball and Learn to Play registration will open between December 1 and December 5, 2024. We appreciate your patience as we finalize these details and will provide an update as soon as registration opens for these programs.

What to Expect in the 2025 Season

 Ponoka Minor Ball Association offers a range of programs for all skill levels and age groups. Whether your child is new to the game or already has experience, we have opportunities to support their development in a fun and engaging environment. Here’s a quick look at the programs available:

• Baseball: From REC to Competitive divisions, our baseball programs are designed to develop skills, teamwork, and a love for the game. With certified coaching courses and structured practice schedules, players will have a season filled with growth and excitement. 
• Softball: Our girls softball programs focus on skill-building, game fundamentals, and teamwork. We’re looking forward to opening registration soon and welcoming returning and new players to the field.
• Learn to Play: Our Learn to Play program is designed for kids aged 7 and under, introducing them to the basics of ball in a friendly, supportive setting. This is a wonderful starting point for young athletes to 'learn to play' and develop skills while having fun.

Coaching and Volunteer Opportunities

As always, our programs rely on the support of dedicated coaches and volunteers. If you have a passion for baseball or softball and enjoy working with kids, we encourage you to consider joining as a coach or team volunteer. Coaching offers a unique opportunity to give back to the community, support youth development, and be a positive influence in young players' lives.
